After thirty years of collecting books, and rapidly running out of storage, we decided to extend our expertise to the wider world, and so Bowerbank Books was established.

We have a clear emphasis on history and biography and, whilst we don’t specialize in any one area, we have strong sections on local history in Cumbria (Cumberland & Westmorland), Lancashire and Yorkshire.

We buy and sell antiquarian and second hand books, especially anything connected to the aforementioned counties.

We run Bowerbank Books from a private address in Bedfordshire and have extensive stock, so if you would like to view any books, please call to make an appointment.
